During our earlier interview with Peter Molyneux, where the affable Lionhead overlord revealed some of Fable III’s new features and changes, we also learnt that Pub Games will definitely not be coming back as a precursor for the new game.
“It destroyed the economy of the Fable universe,” Molyneux declared. But that doesn’t mean that Lionhead aren’t concocting something else to accompany Fable III.
“We have a plan – a very cute outside Fable experience,” said Molyneux.
We’re not sure quite what shape this plan will take, but we’re certain that it’ll bear no resemblance to Fable II Pub Games.
we all hope so
hopefully he brings black jack back that was my favorite, i couldn't play those pub gamesin fable 2 neither could my cousin he lost all his money to that stuff
lol I always gamble all my money but don't pay it of,then the town guard come after me :D
pug games were a bad idea they were so hard to win at it was dumb we all to see better way to get money in fable 3 also that would be a cool twist if jack came back and was helping the evil king that u have to stop that would really surpise a lot of people and all the jack fans wound just die to see him again jack a pimp and we want him back
Well, now that you recommended it, would it be a surprise anymore?
Why would you want him to come back when you could get a new villian with a new motive and personality. But NO lets beg to get the old guy back who frankly, was a cr*p character with no personality he was just 'evil'.
Remember the last "new villain" ? He died from 1 bullet.
Jack of Blades lives through a supernatural mask that makes the wearer superpowered, evil and under his control. Also, he is the most powerful person in Albion aside from The Hero.
He can also turn into a dragon.
I say bring him back.
I never liked the pub games, but then, I don't really like gambling. That's not why I'm playing Fable. I'm very glad that the gambling wasn't vital to the game, as I'm rather disappointed by games that throw irrelevant requirements in. The last level in Halo or the getaway driver quest in GTA:VC where you suddenly have to race are perfect examples. I didn't buy a racing game, stop making me race!
Um… yeah, pretend that had something to do with this topic.
