First off: Dammit! As someone who was very much looking forward to playing Fable 3 on PC and getting some video guides and walkthroughs out the door nice and early, I can honestly say that I’m not a happy camper. Fable 3 was scheduled for an Xbox 360 and PC release on October 26, 2010 but it seems that us PC gamers will have to bite our tongues and wait that little bit longer to get our hands on the game.
Currently, there is no official release date for the PC version but we’re optimistic that we’ll be able to explore Albion once again shortly after the 360 crowd has. I imagine we’re talking weeks after and hopefully not months.
Microsoft’s reasoning as to why the PC version of Fable 3 is to be delayed is thus:
“The console and PC versions are now on different schedules as we’re focusing on building experiences optimized for each platform.”
