Well, what are you waiting for? Here’s that link again for those of you whom might have somehow missed it the first time.

So, if you haven’t invested in a copy of what happens to be my favourite Xbox 360 RPG, then do yourself a favour and head over to the Fable 2: GoTY page on Zavvi and order yourself one before they either run out or before… it’s no longer a Monday. Yeah.

It would have been nice if Microsoft would have thrown in the Knothole Island and See The Future DLC along with the full game download but sadly no such luck. Still, not ever needing to faff about with the DVD is a bit of a bonus; do make sure you have a spare 5GB or so of hard drive space available before download, though, otherwise you’ll be in a bit of a pickle.

Anyone who hasn’t actually picked either of these up would be wise to do so now, especially with Fable III on the cards. Now would be a good time to discover Lionhead’s first Xbox 360 foray into Fable-dom. The Fable II Classics Edition comes complete with all the Knothole Island and See the Future premium add-on packs too.

Fable II Game of the year edition includes the two expansion packs “Knothole Island” & “See the Future” that are available for download from XBOX live for 560 XBOX live points per expansion pack.

It’s RRP is £39.99 but I’ve seen it go for £18.99 at gameplay.co.uk which is quite good value considering that the cost of downloading expansion packs is approximately £9 to £10.

Fable II: Game Episodes delivers the entire Fable II experience in five consecutive installments, with all the Achievements, challenges, and excitement of the disk-based game. Best of all, we’re bringing you the first episode completely free!

Experience childhood and the trials of being a young adult in the world of Albion. After completing the chapter, you have the choice to then purchase the next installment and continue your adventure, fully compatible with both Game Add-ons, “Knothole Island” and “See the Future.”

Available worldwide except Japan and Korea.

Do bear in mind as well that this is the Limited Edition — the clue’s in the title, really. If you drag your heals for too long then I’m sure all of Zavvi’s Fable II stock will be sold out. Hurry hurry!

See the Future sees you entering back into the world of Albion once again where cursed items from Murgo the Trader will open up more challenges for us to sink our teeth into. Whether you fancy saving saving a town of ghosts in The Ghosts of the Snowglobe Quest, saving a damned soul in The Cursed Knight Quest or heading to The Colosseum to conquer the opposition; there seems like plenty to do. You can even give your dog a makeover to look like either a Dalmatian, Bloodhound or a Husky.

So, yeah, make sure you have those Microsoft Points at the ready come May 12th – the “See The Future” DLC has been priced at 560 MS Points. A bargain when compared to Fable II’s first DLC pack, Knothole Island, which was priced at 800 MS Points when released.
