Go for the subs. DEFINITELY the subs. Anyone will tell you the 4Kids dubs are shameful. They cut out aspects of the show like a sword resembling the holy cross, blood, and smoking. They even cut out entire parts of the show which created some continuity issues.

Ever notice how the Zunama bit in DBGT is identical to Oolong's introduction in DB?

Yeah, I think the whole thing was one complete reference to it. Would've made more sense to have Goku acknowledge such, but, missed opportunity I guess. I stopped watching it at the black dragon balls bit, but I think there were some other references to DB/Z.
